The first of several albums of Music by American composer Michael Torke that appeared on ARGO during the 1990s. Torke's work on ARGO range from works for full symphony orchrestra to chamber-scale compositions. This is very approachable music that is full of rhythmic drive and energy and with immediate appeal.
